More on CCTV & camera systemsWho we fit it for
Hotels, pubs, restaurants, distilleries and leisure venues: cameras over the bar and the tills, guest Wi-Fi that works, phones that reach every room, and doors that stay secure after hours.
Venues run late, run busy and run on their reputation, so the systems behind the scenes have to be quietly reliable. We fit hotels, pubs, restaurants, distilleries and leisure venues with the same care as any other business, and around their hours. Much of our hospitality work is on the Yorkshire coast, where Simply IP started, and the same team covers Sheffield and South Yorkshire.
Cameras cover the bar, the tills, the entrance, the car park and the back of house, with colour at night where the outside needs it. Footage is viewable by the people who need it and kept for the period your policy sets.
Wi-Fi is the thing guests notice most. We survey where people actually gather, fit UniFi access points to cover them properly, and keep guest traffic on its own network so it never touches the tills or the office. Staff get their own network for handhelds and the office.
Phones are 3CX, with extensions for reception, bar, kitchen, offices and rooms, voicemail, and routing that changes out of hours so the booking line always goes somewhere sensible.
Doors and fire. Staff areas, cellars and stores get access control so keys stop going missing; the fire alarm is designed from the fire risk assessment, with controlled doors releasing on alarm.
Every venue gets a customer portal with its plans, photos, device register and user guides, and one number to call when something needs attention.
Yes. Most venue work is planned for the quiet part of the day or the week, and the phone switch over happens with a forward in place so the booking line never goes unanswered.
If it is designed for the building, yes. We survey where guests actually are, fit enough access points to cover them, and keep guest traffic on its own network away from the tills and the office.
As many as the venue needs: reception, bar, kitchen, offices and rooms, each with its own extension and voicemail, with routing that changes for out of hours.
Either. Plenty of venues start with one problem, usually cameras or Wi-Fi, and add the rest over time. It all goes through the same portal, so it stays joined up.
