Retail & Multi-Site
Cameras over the tills and the stock room, phones with a tannoy, Wi-Fi for the handhelds and cabling that survives a refit, for one shop or an estate of eighty.
What we fit for retail & multi-siteFire & security
Wired and wireless intruder alarms for business premises, designed around how the building is actually used, so it protects what matters and does not go off for no reason.
An intruder alarm has one job: to tell the right people, quickly, that something is wrong. Most of the ones we are asked to look at fail that job in one of two ways. Either they go off so often that everyone ignores them, or they were fitted to a floor plan rather than to the way the building is used.
We survey first. That means walking the premises with you, understanding where the risk is (the cash office, the stock room, the loading door that gets left ajar), who sets and unsets the system, and what your insurer expects. The design comes from that. Detectors go where they will catch an intruder and not the cleaner; zones are set up so the shop floor can be armed while the office is still in use; and the control panel is explained to the people who will actually lock up at night.
We fit wired systems where the cable can go in cleanly and wireless where it cannot, and we are honest about which suits your building. Alerts go to your phones as standard. Where a site needs more than that, ask about monitored options at the survey.
Like everything we fit, the alarm goes into your customer portal with the plan, the zone list and the job photos, so the next person to look after the building knows what is there.
It depends on the building. Wired suits a refit or a new build where the cable can go in cleanly; wireless suits a finished building where cabling would mean disruption. We fit both and will tell you which makes sense for yours rather than defaulting to one.
Alarm grades come from the British and European standard for intruder systems and describe how much effort an intruder would need to defeat the system. Your insurer may specify a grade. Tell us what your policy says at the survey and we will design to it.
Police response has specific requirements around how the system is installed, maintained and monitored. If your insurer asks for it, tell us at the survey and we will be straight with you about what it takes and how it is met.
Usually because a detector is in the wrong place, the wrong type is fitted, or nobody explained the system to the people who set it. We design to avoid the first two and take time over the third.
