Business Phone Systems

3CX phone systems installed and switched on properly: handsets provisioned, numbers ported, call routing set up and, where you need it, paging and tannoy across the site.

A phone system is a network job as much as a telecoms job, which is why we fit them. The handsets run on the same cabling and the same PoE switches as the cameras and the Wi-Fi, so it makes sense for one team to survey, cable, fit and switch on the lot.

We install 3CX, a modern phone system that runs over your internet connection and works on desk phones, mobiles and computers. The system, its hosting and its licences come through our sister company KLYK; we do the physical side and the switch on. Handsets are provisioned and labelled before install day so they work the moment they are plugged in. Call routing, ring groups, voicemail, out of hours and the auto attendant are set up with you rather than left as defaults, and your existing numbers are ported across on a day you choose.

For shops, warehouses and large sites we fit paging and tannoy on the same system, so a call for assistance at the tills or an announcement to the shop floor comes from the phone on the desk.

Multi-site is where this really earns its keep. We have rolled phone systems out across store estates one site at a time: survey each store, provision the handsets in advance, plan a route so several stores go live in a day, and send the store’s IT contact a plain note when it is done and the call forward can come off.

Questions people ask

What happens to our existing numbers?

They come with you. We manage the port so your numbers move across on a day you choose, with a forward in place so nothing is missed while it goes through.

We have heard the old phone lines are being switched off. Is that true?

Yes. The analogue phone network is being retired across the UK and traditional lines are being withdrawn, so anything still running on one, including some alarm signalling and lift lines, needs a plan. A modern system runs over your internet connection instead, and we will check what else in the building relies on the old lines while we are there.

Who hosts the system?

The phone system itself, its hosting and its licences come through our sister company KLYK, who look after the digital side. We do the survey, the cabling, the handsets, the switch on and the training. One enquiry covers both.

Can you do all our sites?

Yes. Rolling a phone system out across a chain of stores is some of our most regular work: each site surveyed, handsets provisioned in advance, a route planned so several sites go live in a day, and a handover note to your IT contact when each one is done.
